The community is invited to attend a meeting later this month to provide important feedback that could impact the future of the Butler Area School District.
A meeting called Investing So Schools Work will be held on Tues, Oct. 23 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Butler Intermediate High School Library.
The meeting is part of a research project the district is participating in, which aims to measure the needs and cost of a high-quality public education in our area. The meeting will allow community members a chance to voice their opinions about how well a national model would fit here.
Immediately after the meeting, Butler School administrators will ask for public feedback on the district’s facilities plan and about capital improvements. Different school organization scenarios will be presented. If you have thoughts about the way the district is currently organized, your thoughts and ideas are needed.
That meeting will also be held at the Butler Intermediate High School.
