The summer programming at Butler County-owned Alameda Park in Butler Township is winding down this week.
The Free Family Summer Concert Series wraps up this Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. with Big Fat Jazz playing classic jazz favorites at the Odd Fellows Gazebo.
On Thursday, the last Free Outdoor Discovery Series of the summer will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Carousel Shelter. This week’s presentation will be a talk from local historian and storyteller Bill May about Butler County’s most famous outlaws, the Biddle Boys.
Finally, on Friday the final Moonlight Swim and Dive-In Movie will feature Despicable Me 3 at Alameda Waterpark. This show will begin at 8:30 p.m. and is $4 per person but free for pool members.
