Thomas “Tom” C. Ervin, 63, of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away on July 5, 2018 at the Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born February 16, 1955 in Moline, Illinois to the late Roy Clifton Ervin and the late Leah Leota McKern Ervin.
Thomas worked as a Railroad Engine Mechanic for National Railways. Tom was a member of La Chateau 40 & 8 in Annawan, Illinois. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping, and traveling. Tom especially loved spending time with his family.
Tom is survived by his wife, Debbie, who he married on September 30, 2003; children, Jeremy (Shannon) Ervin of Silvis, IL, Ayla (Brian Hillyer) Ervin of East Moline, IL, Lee Criley of Butler, PA, Sommer (Sean) Peters of Butler, PA, and Kacey (Cole) Smietana of Butler, PA; grandchildren, Christina, Stephen, Isaiah, Adam, Evan, Abbey, Gavin, Connor, Braden, Bristol, Brenna, and Harper; and father-in-law, Andrew Musko.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, LeRoy Ervin, and one sister, Jodelle Ervin.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Illinois.
