As the nation commemorates the 75th anniversary of the beginning of World War II, the Butler County Historical Society will host a new, WWII-era traveling exhibition.
“We Can Do It! WWII” is a 500-square foot exhibit that will be on display beginning Saturday in the Senator Walter Lowrie House on West Diamond Street in Butler.
The exhibit explores western Pennsylvania’s impact on the home, industrial and battle fronts during the war, including the development of the jeep which was produced by the American Bantam Car Company in Butler.
Admission is free. The exhibit will be open in Butler through early August.
