Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson is out for the remainder of the season after an MRI Monday discovered he has a fracture in his throwing shoulder. Watson suffered the injury during the Browns comeback victory over Baltimore Sunday. He also suffered a high ankle sprain in that game. The shoulder injury will require surgery, ending his year.
P.J. Walker will replace Watson this weekend when the Browns host the Pittsburgh Steelers. With the loss of Watson, the Steelers have gone from four-point underdogs, to 1-1/2 point favorites in Sunday’s game. Kick-off is 1pm.
NFL Thursday Night Football – the Baltimore Ravens will host the Cincinnati Bengals for an 8:15pm kick-off. Both teams are coming off last-second defeats from last weekend. The Ravens are 7-3 lead the Steelers and Browns by a half-game in the AFC North. The Bengals are 5-4.
