The Butler County Symphony is gearing up for its 70th season.
Over the weekend, the group recognized two people and one organization that have helped the symphony make it to seven decades.
Janice Larrick, Charles Norton and the Butler School District were recognized at the Butler County Symphony Association’s anniversary dinner Friday at the Butler Country Club.
This is the first time individuals or entities have been recognized by the symphony. Board President Patricia Stagno says the group will continue to recognize those who make outstanding contributions in the years to come.
The Butler County Symphony Orchestra will begin its 70th season on Oct. 6 under the continued direction of Matthew Kraemer.
