Several Butler graduates have been awarded money to help pay for post-secondary education as part of the Rosanne Cavalero and Jane Cavalero Scholarships.
These scholarships are provided in equal shares to male and female graduates from Butler High School having the highest cumulative grade point average that plan to continue their education.
Madyline Lawrence will receive $6,805 towards her studies of Applied Mathematical Science at Bucknell University. The male scholarship will be divided three ways after Nathan Callithen, Jefferson Ford, and Cullen Paulisick tied for the top spot in this year’s rankings. All four winners and their families reside in Butler.
The Rosanne and Jane Cavalero Scholarships are distributed through the Wellington C. Carl Fund of the Pittsburgh Foundation.
