Organ Concerts at Saxonburg Mingle on Main

Two organ concerts will be held on July 15 during the Mingle on Main event in Saxonburg. The public concerts will be performed at 6 pm and 7 pm at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, located at Main and State streets. Organist Ellen Dodge will play musical selections from J.S. Bach to Andrew Lloyd Webber.
The two-manual Moller pipe organ was dedicated in April 1929. The organ was funded by Ferdinand Roebling in memory of his father, John Roebling. The historic organ, rebuilt in 1977, has pipes measuring in length from three inches to 16 feet. A stained glass window tour at the 152-year-old church is planned for the August Mingle on Main.
