United Way Special Day of Caring

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, United Way is hosting a special Day of Caring to inspire families and individuals throughout the region to lend a helping hand during these difficult times. Volunteers can sign up in advance for four activities: writing notes to senior citizens; donating masks, disinfectant wipes, disposable gloves and hand sanitizer for families and seniors in need; collecting diapers and other baby supplies; and assembling activity kits for children. On Saturday, June 20, volunteers can deliver their items to any of United Way’s three offices in Allegheny, Butler and Westmoreland counties.
