The Pittsburgh Penguins have hired former Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Kyle Dubas as president of hockey operations. The Penguins fired president of hockey operations Brian Burke along with general manager Ron Hextall and assistant GM Chris Pryor after the Penguins missed the Stanley Cup playoffs for the first time since Sidney Crosby’s rookie season. The 37-year old Dubas spent nine seasons with the Maple Leafs, including the past five as their general manager.
