The Slippery Rock University football team moved up two spots to #13 in the nation this week following their impressive victory over West Chester, improving to 2-0. The Rock now holds the highest ranking for a team in Super Region 1, after jumping over Shepherd. The Rock will host Millersville, who are receiving national votes after their 2-0 start, this Saturday. It will be Slippery Rock’s annual “White Out” game.
Rock quarterback Brayden Long was named the PSAC-West Offensive Player of the Week after his 300+ yard performance in the West Chester victory.
