Echoes from Our Past Historic Cemetery Walk

Join us for “Echoes from Our Past Historic Cemetery Walk” as history is brought to life through costumed actors portraying the intriguing characters and events of Butler County’s ancestors in the midst of the beautiful grounds of the North Side Cemetery. Do not miss this opportunity to learn about the people who contributed to the area’s rich and unique history. Be sure to wear your walking shoes and bring your family and friends to participate in this unique, fascinating educational program. This year we will pay tribute to Butler’s veterans.
The Historic Cemetery Walk does not consist of any ghost or fictional stories. This respectful tour presents Butler County’s history in a unique way. All information provided is factual and related to historical events of the Butler area and the lives of the people and families who lived here.

Tickets are available now and will be available in our office at the Senator Walter Lowrie House, 123 West Diamond St, directly behind the Courthouse. There is a 20-minute parking space in front of our door for your convenience. We are open on Tuesdays & Thursdays 11-2: Wednesdays 11-4. We also will be open on Friday, May 10 and Friday, May 17 from 11-2. Call 724-283-8116 for reservations.
