Grandparenting Support Group

We live in an age when many seniors are providing care for their grandchildren and some have taken on the full time role of parenting them. Often this brings new and different challenges compared with raising their children. The purpose of this meeting is to organize a group that will provide support, education and fellowship for grandparents in this situation. The hope is that this will become a group that meets on a regular basis at a time to be decided based on participants’ schedules.

There is no cost for attending and all are welcome. The group will be advised by a local social worker helping grandparenting families in the Butler area.
