A home in Penn Township was destroyed in an early morning fire.
The first call came in around 5:20 a.m. for a fire in the 300 block of Three Degree Road.
The caller told dispatchers that the fire appeared to have started on the front porch of a log cabin home.
When crews got on scene, they found a fully involved fire. Multiple tanker trucks were called to help battle the blaze.
The family of six people living in the house were able to safely escape.
