The Peoples Eat, Drink, Help program has benefited another local nonprofit.
A $2,000 check from Peoples was presented Monday to It’s About the Warrior Foundation at Starlight Drive-in. It’s About the Warrior Foundation assists and empowers regional post 9/11 veterans and their families with financial, educational, recreational or therapeutic needs.
The Eat, Drink, Help program supports local businesses, while at the same time benefitting local charities and nonprofits. Peoples Natural Gas partners with a business, and that business chooses a local charity to support.
Peoples has decided to expand their program to allow for a variety of local small businesses to help non-profit organizations all over our area.
