The convicted killer who escaped prison in Eastern Pennsylvania for 13 days last year has entered a guilty plea to multiple charges.
Attorney General Michelle Henry recently announced that 35-year-old Danelo Cavalcante will serve an additional 15 to 30 years.
This sentence will be served consecutive to his existing life sentence without the possibility of parole for the brutal murder of his ex-girlfriend.
Cavalcante escaped from the Chester County Prison by “crab-walking” up a wall and getting through razor wire in August of 2023. During his escape he committed two residential burglaries, stealing a car and a firearm.
