Several people are facing charges of attempted homicide and robbery following an incident in Armstrong County.
According to State Police, the incident began on Friday, April 19 just before 10 a.m. when 26-year-old Kanisha Croyle of Kittanning, 32-year-old Eric McKenzie of Beaver Falls, and 33-year-old Willie Lunsford of Mount Union forced their way into an apartment in Kittanning.
They put a gun to the head of a 35-year-old female, according to police, and forced her to lead them to the apartment of a 40-year-old male from Homestead. The male victim was shot once in the hand and the three suspects fled the scene. The victim’s injuries were not life threatening. He was treated and released.
The three suspects were all apprehended soon after. This confrontation is suspected to be the result of drugs.
