Many families of young children are struggling with the decision of beginning kindergarten in the fall especially with concerns about COVID-19.
Penn State Cooperative Extension is offering two live webinars to help families prepare for kindergarten as well as understand the benefits and consequences of delaying that start to school.
The first webinar titled “Is My Child Ready for Kindergarten?” will take place Thursday at 11:30 a.m. This free presentation will last for about 45 minutes and registration is required in order to receive the link.
The second webinar is titled “Should I Redshirt My Child For Kindergarten?” and will be offered next Thursday, July 16th also at 11:30 a.m. Registration is also required for this free program and can be done so through the Penn State Extension website.
