Local residents are invited to join the Seneca Valley School District to help neighbors in need.
An 8th grade student at Ryan Gloyer Middle School (Lilia Maschmeier) is organizing a district wide food drive with a goal of 10,000 items.
As part of the effort, schools are competing to see who can gather the most items with prizes available from local businesses like passes to local entertainment facilities, coupons for ice cream, and a pool party at the Cranberry Township Community Waterpark.
Non-perishable items are being accepted through this Wednesday (4/13). All items must be unopened and will be sent to the Help Your Neighbor program at Victory Family Church.
