Bernard “Bernie” Klara

Bernard “Bernie” Klara born 2/22/1969 to Winnie Joyce Klara and the late Stanley Klara passed away on 3/29/2024. He fought a strong and courageous battle against cancer. He valued education and was always trying to learn new things. He had an associate’s degree in electronic technology, and certificates in both plumbing and heating and air conditioning. He had several jobs in maintenance and welding. The last fifteen years he worked at Berry Metal in Harmony in various departments ending in material handling. He had a unique sense of humor and made so many people happy. He was most proud of his children, Alex, Shawna, and Adam, as nothing meant more to him than his family. He will be forever missed by his wife, Mary, whom he referred to as the love of his life, as well as his children, his mom Winnie Joyce Klara, sister Joyce (John) Greene, and several nieces and nephews. Along with his father, he was preceeded in death by his sister, Cherida Thrasher. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 5-7 PM at the SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 NEW CASTLE RD. BUTLER, PA 16001. WWW.SPENCERDGEIBEL.COM. A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home. Burial will be held privately at Butler County Memorial Park Cemetery.
