Two Pennsylvania departments have joined forces to provide a virtual training series to help employers with those recovering from substance abuse.
The Department of Labor and Industry partnered with the Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs to build a virtual training series that helps employers create and maintain a recovery-friendly workplace.
The program will be offered twice a month from September to December and again in February to May 2025 occurring bi-monthly at 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
The training sessions will offer virtual lectures, presentations, and training sessions from healthcare providers and experts in addiction medicine, social work m human resources, and law enforcement.
