The Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Washington Nationals in Washington on Saturday night, winning by a final of 4-1.
Jameson Taillon started on the mound for the Pirates, and pitched seven innings. Taillon struck out five while allowing four hits, one walk, and the lone run. Max Moroff had two hits, including a triple, as well as two walks, and three RBI. Saturday’s win broke a two game losing streak for the Pirates.
The Bucs close out their 2017 season on Sunday afternoon, as they square off once again against the Nationals.
