Local runners and walkers will be heading out to Preston Park in Butler Township this weekend for the third annual 5K race.
This event is sponsored by the Friends of Preston Park Foundation and will begin at 9 a.m. Sunday on South Eberhart Road in Meridian.
The day will include food and prizes. The cost to participate is $25 but spectators can watch the event for free.
All proceeds will benefit the Friends of Preston Park Foundation to continue care for the park. Those interested in registering to participate can do so online.
