There is still time to join in a local activity this weekend to benefit a great cause.
The 30th annual St. Barnabas Free Care 5K has returned to an in-person event after being held virtually last year due to the ongoing pandemic.
For a cost of $30 per participant, runner and walkers can meet at 9 a.m. on Meridian Road in Gibsonia. Pets, smoking, and inline skates are prohibited. Medals and cash prizes will be awarded at a post-race party that will also include food and raffles.
The proceeds from this race will benefit the Free Care Fund, which provides money to patients and residents who cannot afford care. Visit FreeCare5K.com for more information.
