Some students at Butler Catholic School will move to remote learning because of positive COVID-19 tests.
The Diocese of Pittsburgh announced that students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades will participate in online learning the rest of this week.
This move was made due to staffing concerns after someone associated with the school recently tested positive and potential exposure.
Preschool and kindergarten through 5th grade at Butler Catholic will continue to attend in-person instruction. The current plan is for the older students to return to in-person instruction on Monday.
