City police are continuing to investigate after a passer-by called 911 Monday to report he found an unresponsive body in a parking lot.
Butler City Police were called to the Citizen’s Bank parking lot on North Main Street about 4 a.m. Monday to investigate. Upon arrival, police say the man was already dead. He has been identified as 21-year-old Jonathan Fichter of Butler.
Police said there were no immediate signs of trauma and foul play was not initially suspected.
An autopsy was scheduled for Monday evening.
