After a couple back-to-back nice weather days, rain and storms are expected Thursday.
“Periods of rain are expected today with the potential for multiple rounds of heavier rain Thursday evening and overnight, which could result in the flooding of streams, creeks and poor drainage areas,” according to a Hazardous Weather Outlook issued Thursday for Butler and surrounding counties by the National Weather Service office in Pittsburgh.
The chance for rain doesn’t come until after 2 p.m. for the area. We’re expected to see increasing clouds as we move throughout the morning and early afternoon, with a high expected of 76 degrees.
By Friday, we could see more than two inches of rain.
