Major League Baseball has released a second update on All-Star voting, and Pirates first baseman Josh Bell remains the top vote-getter in the National League at his position. Bell leads the Major Leagues with 65 RBI’s, 27 doubles and 49 extra-base hits. He is also first among first baseman with a .321 batting average.
Currently all players are eligible for a vote through Friday (June 21st), when the top three players at each position and nine outfielders in each league move into the “second round” of voting.
The MLB All-Star game is July 9th in Cleveland.
