The public is invited to attend a free event to hear from a local author.
The South Butler Community Library is hosting Cynthia Wylie, who will read from her children’s “Bloomers Island” series at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Wylie will talk about how growing up on her family farm in the South Butler area inspired her stories. She will also engage toddler, preschool, and elementary-aged kids in activities that promote healthy living and growing their own food. A limited number of books will be available for purchase.
This event is free to attend and no registration is required.
