Butler County has chosen their next solicitor who is expected to be officially hired next month.
According to a press release from the Butler County Commissioners, H. William “Wil” White III will begin as the County’s legal advisor once the County’s salary board ratifies the move November 13th.
White has more than 25 years of experience with various firms including Dillon, McCandless, King, Coulter, and Graham where he is currently employed. He has served as solicitor for a number of municipalities and school districts around the region and is expected to begin working with Butler County in December.
Former County solicitor Mike English stepped down one year ago after accepting a job with a local non-profit. Since then, former solicitor Julie Graham has been filling in as the Commissioners searched for a permanent replacement.
