A local community is ushering in the holiday season this weekend with a festival and fun event.
Christmas in Chicora is planned for Friday and Saturday with times for different events and activities varying based on venue.
Local businesses will hold open houses with refreshments, prize giveaways, discounts, and lunch specials. Also a huge vendor and craft show will be held at various locations around town.
