The Moniteau School District has officially hired a new superintendent.
The school board unanimously approved Tom Samosky as the district’s superintendent.
Samosky comes from Trinity School District, where he has served as the high school’s principal for the last five years.
District officials said they expect Samosky to begin his duties beginning sometime in January.
Samosky replaces Dr. Sean Arney, who announced he was leaving the district this past September. Business Manager John D’Amore has been serving as the acting superintendent since Arney’s departure.
