Butler Township Commissioners are continuing to consider branding ideas for a new logo and signage.
Senior students from Slippery Rock University recently presented the results of a survey along with focus group meetings and a final idea.
Over 500 votes were made in the online survey of choices resulting in a recommended logo featuring buildings, trees, and several figures walking and biking along with the slogan “Butler Township. A First Class Township. Incorporated in 1804”.
The students also helped with making some changes to the Township’s welcome booklet. The Commissioners are expected to make the final decision and move forward with rebranding sometime early next year.
