Butler City now has a new member of council.
Democrat Bob Dandoy took his oath of office earlier this morning inside the City Building.
“The goals that I outlined as I was campaigning are still first and foremost in my mind,” Dandoy said. “That’s to bring the most transparency as I can to council and to be the person on the council that will serve as both the ears and voice for people who haven’t had that in the past.”
Dandoy was sworn-in alongside Republican Mike Walter, who is beginning his second term on council and City Treasurer Aaron Bonus.
