Butler Township Police have extended to the deadline to register for the Citizens Police Academy.
The deadline has been moved to tomorrow by 4:30 p.m.
There’s no charge to participate in the program that helps residents learn the activities of the township’s police department.
The academy consists of classes every Tuesday evening beginning next week and running through the end of February.
You can stop by the Township building on South Duffy Road to pick up and submit an application.
