A Slippery Rock woman is facing charges after allegedly stealing a donation jar from a convenience store.
Butler Township Police have filed charges against 49-year-old Johanne Minetti after she was observed on video surveillance taking a Children’s Miracle Network donation jar from the counter of the Speedway on Hansen Avenue in October.
Minetti is accused of making sure the employees were not looking when she removed the jar containing about $100 in change from the store.
Police have also charged Minetti with an incident of retail theft at the Butler Crossing Kohl’s in December when she allegedly put two jewelry items worth $400 in her pocket and attempted to leave the store.
