County commissioners are renewing the contract for a mass notification system that’s used to alert residents of impactful situations.
The Code RED system is used to alert citizens in the path of severe thunderstorms, flash floods, tornadoes as well as any other potentially life threatening event or emergency.
The system can send out alerts via text, email, or phone call.
