About 500 people from Butler County are in Washington D.C. for today’s March For Life.
Butler residents departed by bus earlier this morning joining hundreds of thousands from across the country as they participate in day-long activities promoting the pro-life movement.
The theme of this year’s march is “Unique from Day One: Pro-Life is Pro-Science,” which emphasizes the scientific evidence that life begins at conception. The march itself was scheduled to begin at noon.
President Donald Trump is expected to speak at the event, which would make him the first sitting president to address the March For Life.
The groups from Butler will pack-up following the conclusions of today’s events and are expected to return to the area by 11:00 tonight.
