A local nonprofit organization has named a new top administrator.
Butler resident Donna Lamison is the new Executive Director of the Butler County chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, or NAMI. NAMI is dedicated to improving the lives of people living with brain disorders.
Lamison previously spent time as the Founding Executive Director of the Pittsburgh-based non-profit International Society for Bipolar Disorders. She will officially begin her new responsibilities including managing the local NAMI office and coordinating programs on Monday.
Kathy Perkins previously served as NAMI’s Executive Director since 2016.
