Former Pittsburgh Steelers offensive lineman Carlton Haselrig died Wednesday. He was 54. He made the Pro Bowl with the Steelers in 1992, and was a six-time NCAA wrestling champion. He collapsed at his Johnstown home yesterday morning and was pronounced dead a short time later.
Haselrig took a unique path to the NFL — making the Steelers after not playing any college football.
The NFL announced Wednesday that any fans that will be permitted to attend games this season, will be required to wear masks. It is still an unknown how many teams will host fans. The New York Giants host the Pittsburgh Steelers for Week One of the regular season on Monday September 14th, and it has already been announced that there will be no fans permitted.
