This year’s Butler County Community College golf fundraiser was another record-breaker.
The event- held annually to raise money for the school- brought in a record $100,000 during this year’s August 7th event. That brought the total money raised through the 25 years of the event to over $1 million.
The event is put on by the BC3 Education Foundation. The money goes to support scholarships, the new Pioneer Pantry, and other educational opportunities. The previous record raised was $95,000 last year.
The team scramble at the Olde Stonewall Golf Club included 108 golfers and 34 sponsors.
