State police are asking for help after someone stole a gun and ammo from a Summit Township apartment.
Police say it happened yesterday around 6 p.m. in the 300 block of Mitchell Hill Road. It’s unclear how many people were involved in the burglary, but the thieves took off with a black plastic ammo box containing 350 to 400 rounds of 9 mm ammunition and a Hightower Arms stock.
Witnesses saw a newer, white Ford F-150 with a West Virginia plate leaving the scene.
