Travel delays could be possible for motorists in Cranberry Township later this week, as crews continue work on North Boundary Road.
According to PennDOT, North Boundary Road will be closed beginning Friday and continuing through Monday while the northbound I-79 bridge beams are set.
Motorists should expect delays during this time with a detour posted that will direct traffic onto Marshall Road, Rowan Road, and Route 19 North before connecting back up to North Boundary Road.
This is phase 2 of a two-year $14.6 million project. The southbound I-79 bridge over North Boundary Road was replaced during the construction season last year.
