Those interested in learning more about native plants are invited to Moraine State Park later this week for a hike along Lake Arthur.
The public is invited to meet with park staff Wednesday for a Wildflower Walk along the McDanels Launch area on the North Shore.
This activity will begin at 6 p.m. and continue until approximately 7:30 p.m. During the less than two mile stroll, participants will learn about native plants and how to bring the beauty of nature to a backyard.
Participants are asked to dress for the weather, and pre-registration is required by calling the park office because space is limited. Those planning to attend also must wear a mask and social distance.
