A pregnant woman was flown to the hospital after an accident yesterday in Butler Township.
Police say the crash happened around 11:30 a.m. in the Butler Crossing Plaza. 53-year-old Margaret Calvert was driving through an intersection when police say she failed to yield to a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Tara Strobel, who had the right of way.
Strobel, who is pregnant, was taken to the Butler VA before being flown to UPMC Presby via helicopter.
Calvert and her husband suffered minor injuries, but were not taken to the hospital.
