Slippery Rock University is offering grants for student projects but the deadline to apply is fast approaching.
The goal of the Student Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activities Grant program is provide SRU students with quality learning experiences such as lab experiments or performing arts collaboratives.
A committee of SRU faculty will review applications and award between five and twelve $1,000 grants depending on the quality of applicants and funding available. Grant recipients will work closely with a faculty or staff member but the student is responsible for the grant proposal.
The deadline for fall semester submissions is 4 p.m. Sunday (10/4) with applications available through the website of the SRU Office of Academic Affairs and Integrated Learning.
