A portion of Route 422 is now reopened following an accident that happened earlier this morning in Summit Township.
The two vehicle crash happened in the westbound lane around 6:30 near Geibel Road. Right now details are sketchy on the crash, but the accident did force the brief closure of Route 422 in between Carbon Center Road and Geibel Road.
Crews were on the scene for an hour before the road fully reopened.
