Both candidates in the race for the 17th Congressional District were targeted by vandalism over the weekend.
The home of Republican candidate Sean Parnell was spray painted with the message, “Elections No! Revolution Yes!” with the image of a hammer and a cycle.
His opponent, current Democratic Congressman Conor Lamb also had a similar message painted onto his congressional office in Mount Lebanon.
Both opponents condemned the actions and police are investigating. The 17th District represents a portion of southern Butler County.
