One man died in a motorcycle accident in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County over the weekend.
It happened around 6 p.m. Saturday night on Ellwood Road just over a mile south of Hogue Road.
State police say 43-year-old David Sedgwick of Ellwood City was driving south on his Harley-Davidson when he was hit by a vehicle driven by 72-year-old Mary Dean of New Castle.
Police say Dean hit her brakes, but was unable to avoid colliding into Sedgwick who was thrown from his bike.
He was pronounced dead on the scene.
