The Seneca Valley School District is again adjusting their learning models for elementary students.
Administrators have decided that elementary students will be educated using livestreaming though the remote learning model beginning Tuesday, December 1st and continuing through Monday, January 4th.
Secondary students have been remote learning since last Wednesday but the district had been educating kindergarten through sixth grade in a cohort-hybrid model that split students into two groups to attend class two days a week.
This decision was made following the release of the latest COVID-19 updates from the Pennsylvania Department of Health as well as new recommendations from the Department of Education.
Seneca Valley also announced that Stepping Stones Before and After School care will not be available. Parents and guardians of students in all grades can sign up for Grab ‘N Go meal pickup beginning December 4th through the SV Portal.
